“Made-in-Switzerland” at CHINA PRINT 2017

On the second day at drupa 2016, the Organising Committee of CHINA PRINT 2017 led by Mr. Chang’an LU, Vice President of PEIAC (Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China) visited two prestigious Swiss companies – BOBST and Muller Martini.

As the vital supplier of equipments and services for packaging and label printers, BOBST exhibited its innovative solutions at drupa. Those solutions is focusing on the enhancement of productivity and extensions of functions, so as to ensure the investment BOBST’s customers made on print equipments and solutions to be protected.
 
The Committee of CHINA PRINT was received a warm welcome by the CEO, Mr. Jean-Pascal BOBST. He addressed that, the year of 2016 is the milestone for BOBST as it is the 125 anniversary of the establishment of BOBST. At drupa 2016, we clearly showed our power in and promise to the print industry – exactly what made us gained our preliminary praise at the very beginning of BOBST. BOBST will further develop its technologies and services for continuous meeting the increasing demands the customers and the industry bring out. For more efficiently showcasing better equipments and services to the global packaging and label printing industries, BOBST will take the advantage of CHINA PRINT 2017 to elaborately illustrate the innovative solutions.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Chang’an LU, on behalf of CHINA PRINT exhibitions, sent BOBST a present for celebrating the 125 anniversary. 
 
At this year’s drupa, Muller Martini concentrated on the “Post-press Finishing 4.0” which emphasised the intelligent connection and non-touch workflow. Visitors were able to touch and experience how the highly automatic post-press finishing processes can be economically applied to short runs; hence opportunities for new business area. Muller Martini also indicated that “our solutions are leading in the industry for a long term”. The “Post-press Finishing 4.0” and intelligent connection will make Martini’s equipments more flexible and adjustable in the length of jobs, runs and format. The representative of Martini also showed a very great tendency to continuously showcase and illustrate more about this field at CHINA PRINT 2017.
